SpeakWith Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the SpeakWith application. By installing or using SpeakWith, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
Licence to use SpeakWith
SpeakWith grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the application on Mac computers and iOS devices you own or control, in accordance with these terms. You may not redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense the application, or attempt to reverse engineer it except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
Accuracy disclaimer
SpeakWith converts speech to text using automated processing. Automated transcription is a powerful aid, but it is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Results depend on factors including recording quality, background noise, accents, specialist vocabulary, and the nature of what was said.
You should treat transcripts as a high-quality first draft to review and correct, not as a verbatim or certified record. Do not rely on SpeakWith's output for any purpose where an error could cause harm, loss, or legal consequence without independently verifying it.
Your content
You own the recordings, transcripts, and documents you create with SpeakWith. SpeakWith does not claim any rights over your content. You are responsible for what you record and for having the right to record it. Because your content is stored as files on your own device, you are also responsible for backing it up.
Provided "as is"
SpeakWith is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every recording will be processed successfully.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpeakWith and IKI Systems will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the application. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its date. Continued use of SpeakWith after a change means you accept the updated terms.
